With 14 years of experience as an Assistant Professor, I have developed a robust expertise in computer applications, programming, and analytical skills. My academic background is anchored by a Ph.D. in Computer Applications from Dr. M.G.R Educational and Research University, which I completed in March 2019. I also hold a Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA) from Valliammal College for Women and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (B.Sc.) from ANNA ADARSH College for Women. Both my master’s and bachelor’s degrees were awarded with distinction, reflecting my strong academic performance.
Research Contributions
My research contributions are well-recognized in the academic community, with several Scopus-indexed publications highlighting my work. One of my notable papers, “Classifier for Non-Transitive Relations in Trust and Reputation of Web Services,” published in the International Journal of Applied Engineering Research in 2015, explores advanced methods for classifying non-transitive relations in web services, an area crucial for enhancing the reliability of trust and reputation systems.
In 2017, I co-authored “Analysis of Scheduling Algorithms in Service-Oriented Architecture and Web Services,” published in the Journal of Advanced Research in Dynamical and Control Systems. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of various scheduling algorithms, offering insights into their effectiveness and application in service-oriented architectures. Another significant publication, “Performance Evaluation of Web Services Composition using Priority Allocation Method,” appeared in the International Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics in 2018. This research evaluates how priority allocation methods can improve the performance of web service compositions.
Further extending my research into big data, I published “The Impact of Data Analysis for Test Automation and Performance Using Big Data” in the International Journal of Advanced Science and Technology in 2020. This paper examines how big data analytics can enhance test automation processes and overall performance. Additionally, I addressed security and privacy issues in healthcare IoT with my 2022 paper, “Patient Monitoring in Healthcare IoT: A Research Perspective of Security and Privacy Challenges, Threats, and Solutions,” published in the Journal of NeuroQuantology. This work provides a detailed analysis of the challenges and solutions related to security and privacy in healthcare IoT systems.
Professional Development
I have actively engaged in professional development to stay current with advancements in technology and teaching methodologies. I have participated in numerous workshops and webinars that cover a wide range of topics. Among these, the national-level workshops on middleware technologies, big data mining, and cloud computing stand out as particularly significant. These workshops have equipped me with advanced knowledge in areas such as cloud data analysis, interoperability, and recent techniques in web services and internet security.
Additionally, I have attended webinars on emerging technologies and contemporary issues, including blockchain, 5G, and artificial intelligence. For instance, I attended a webinar on “Blockchain Technology” organized by Sri Subramaniyaswamy Arts College and another on “5G Technology” hosted by Mahalashmi Women’s College of Arts & Science. These sessions have expanded my understanding of how new technologies impact various domains and have informed my research and teaching practices.

In addition to my journal articles, I authored a book titled Operating Systems: A Practitioner’s Approach, published by Charulatha Publications in June 2021. This book provides an in-depth exploration of operating systems, tailored for practical application and designed to serve both students and practitioners. My contributions to the field are further demonstrated by my patent, “Internet of Things Enabled Artificial Intelligence-Based Electrical Power Theft Detection and Prevention,” published on June 17, 2022. This innovative patent represents a significant advancement in IoT and AI, addressing critical issues in electrical power theft detection and prevention.

My dedication to teaching and research has been acknowledged through various awards. Notably, I received the Best Faculty Award from Chennai Softtec and Manumuna Academy in October 2021. This award is a testament to my commitment to excellence in teaching and my positive impact on students and the academic community.
Organized Programs
I have also demonstrated leadership by organizing and leading educational programs aimed at advancing knowledge and skills among students and colleagues. I have organized a range of webinars and workshops on topics such as cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity. For instance, I led a two-day workshop on “Big Data Analytics” in July 2022, which provided participants with hands-on experience and insights into big data tools and techniques. Additionally, I organized webinars on cloud computing in AWS, the prevention of cyberattacks, and students’ enrichment programs focused on recent technology trends. These programs have been instrumental in enhancing the learning experience and staying abreast of technological advancements.
Institutional Roles
In addition to my academic and research responsibilities, I have taken on several significant roles within my institution. As NME Coordinator for Shift II, I have been responsible for overseeing curriculum implementation and ensuring the smooth operation of the program. My role as Internship Member in IIC involves coordinating and facilitating internships, providing students with valuable industry experience. I have also served as Swayam Coordinator, managing online courses and ensuring their integration into the curriculum. As Value Added Course Coordinator, I have overseen the development and implementation of supplementary courses designed to enhance students’ skills and knowledge.
Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated a commitment to advancing both my own knowledge and the academic community’s understanding of emerging technologies. My extensive experience, coupled with my active involvement in research, professional development, and institutional roles, underscores my dedication to excellence in education and innovation. My ongoing efforts to contribute to the field and support student success reflect my passion for technology and education, driving me to continually push the boundaries of knowledge and practice.
